About
Aware of my passion for the arts from an early age: I started to study perspective, techniques and colors at the Anaya Academy in Spain. At the age of 8, I won the second prize of the fine arts competition organized by the Ministry of Economy of Spain and at the age of 15, the first prize.
In the same way, in 2002, I was invited to exhibit at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam with my own version of «Van Gogh’s House». This first encounter with van Gog’s paintings in elementary school was decisive for my paintings and marked the beginning of my appreciation for Impressionism.
Following the advice of adults around me, saying that «science and technologies are the future», I decided to focus on my other passion, that of aeronautics, during my graduate studies. I obtained a degree in engineering at the TU of Aeronautics in Madrid. Perseverance, hard work, flying birds, aircraft mechanics and engineering values then guided my paintings. Passionate about the burning desire to paint again, I promised myself to create a painting every month, despite everything. It was three years ago and I still keep my promise.
