Artist Nature Inspiration

I am often inspired by nature. I try to capture every single moment of the season: rain, snow or glowing flowers.

Nowadays, my main inspiration comes from La Rosaleda in El Retiro de Madrid.  El Retiro Park is full of romantic corners. It is considered the Garden of Gardens and the lung of Madrid

The Jardines de la Rosaleda, created on behalf of the City Council of Madrid in 1915 by the former gardener of El Retiro, Mr. Cecilio Rodríguez, who was inspired by the work already done by the French landscape architect Jean-Claude Nicolas Forestier and in particular the Bois de Boulogne Garden in Paris.

I love to wake up early and walk on the gardens before the world starts. Indeed, the light is perfect to take photographies, which will inspire me on my future paintings.  Its sinusoidal forms, its colours and smells awakes my inspiration and creativity. The serial “Flowers on a vase” comes precisely from these kind of photographies.

This oil on canvas is a singular and special representation of this nature. The spring blooms grew in abundance and late this year. «The rose» has been created in 42*31 cm canvas. This piece arrives framed on a black/brown frame.

Nature offers every day a great show of colours and smells, like statues carved by the best teachers. Our duty is and will always be to conserve them.
